Nested search
You have two view options when you view your search results: nested view and flat view. Use the toggle in the upper right corner to switch between the two views:
Nested view displays more contextual information and more intelligent results in an inverted tree form that reveals the relationships between parent and child objects in your network:

Nested view includes the following advantages:
- You can find devices based on unrelated criteria, such as the user of the device plus the software installed on it, or the OS version plus the disk space installed on it. The Nested view multiplies unrelated search material.
- You get more contextual information in the search results, such as the relationship between the search term on its parent and child relationships. Often this is helpful, and other times, you may want fewer results.
A simple search for freespace reveals not only the freespace and the disks that contain it, but the device that each disk is on, as well as information about that device:
Flat search
Flat view is helpful
if you don't want a lot of extra information. Use the Flat view to ask very specific
questions where related data is irrelevant and you are fairly certain what kind of
search will answer your qeustion. Also, because Flat view is simpler and contains
less data, it's faster. For example, if you know that free space is an attribute of
a disk, you can search for disk, and you'll find freespace among the results.
In flat view, the search for freespace results in the freespace and the disks that contain it:
